The Executive Committee of the International Forum for Child Welfare (IFCW) invites its current members, and those who are interested in learning more about the organization, to an informal hour with refreshments and hors d'oeuvres. Nigel Fischer, Executive Director of UNICEF Canada, will speak on emerging issues of importance to children globally and the role that the IFCW might play in that regard. The General Assembly will then conduct its annual business meeting, including a discussion on the findings from a recent membership survey as well as reports from the President, Treasurer and Nominations Committee. Non-members are welcome to stay for the entire meeting; however, only IFCW members in good standing may vote on matters before the General Assembly.
